Juan Li obtained her Ph.D. (2018) from Tsinghua University Engineering Mechanics supervised by Prof. Ziniu Wu. She worked as an Early Stage Researcher within the Marie Sklodowska-Curie ITN project “ConFlex” at the University of Warwick (2018 - 2021) under the supervision of Prof. Xiaowei Zhao on Modelling and load alleviation strategies of large and flexible wind turbine rotors. She was a visiting scholar at Imperial College London, collaborating with Prof. Michael Graham on three-dimensional vortex flow problems. Her main research interests include unsteady aerodynamics, vortex dynamics, and load alleviation control of wind turbines. Her work has been published in a series of high-impact journals including Journal of Fluid Mechanics, AIAA Journal, and Renewable Energy.
